He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. McDade Sr. and Florence Buffington; his parents-in-law, Lavinia and Joseph Puskarich; his brothers-in-law, James Gorbey and Joseph Puskarich; and his niece Abbey Gorbey.
He is survived by: his friend Bruce Fain; his pet Louie Earl; his wife Linda Puskarich McDade; his daughters, Marlene McDonough (Cole) and Catherine Reudter (Daniel); his siblings, Jean Marie Gorbey, Kathleen Peifer (David) and Michael McDade (Mary); his sister-in-law Kathleen Hamilton; and his grandchildren, Lavinia Reudter, Declan, Dash and Daury McDonough. He is also survived by his wife.
A proud grandfather of four, he tutored his oldest grandchild at home during the pandemic.
