He was predeceased by: his wife Kathleen; his parents, John Murphy and Gertrude Murphy; his sisters, Helen Wusinich and Karen Murphy; and his brothers-in-law, Franny Kane, Tom Lynn, David Senn and Jim Wusinich.
He is survived by: his children, Dan Murphy (Mary Kay), Jack Murphy (Alicia), Kathy Casey (Mike) and Annemarie Leone (Gio); his sister Maureen Dougherty; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Kane, Patricia Roos (Greg), Frannie Senn and Gerre Lynn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
