He was predeceased by: his parents, Ann V. Filliben (McCloskey) and Joseph F. Filliben; his wife Margaret (Hagarty); and his son Jeffrey Filliben. He is survived by: his sons, Shawn (Cynthia) of Palm Coast, FL, Dennis (Rebecca), Theodore (Francine), Eugene (Tracy) of Wilmington and Joel (Megan) of Newark; his daughter-in-law Suzanne Filliben; his friend Patricia Davia; his grandchildren, Alexis Blackford (Berkowitz), Ian Roddy, Eric Berkowitz, Lyndsey Filliben, Joseph Filliben, Brittany Smith (Filliben), Devon Filliben, Ryan Filliben, John Charles Filliben, Taylor Filliben, Jeff Filliben, Julia Filliben, Luke Filliben and Brett Filliben; and his great grandchildren, Alaina Jenkins, Matthew Jenkins, Emerson Berkowitz, Jordan Blackford, Emmitt Jenkins, Madden Berkowitz, Julia Blackford, Shea Filliben, Cooper Filliben and Miles Smith.
