He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Graney (Callahan) and Joseph J. Graney; his wife Joyce Graney (Kurosky); his grandson Brandon; and his sister Cass Maddams.
He is survived by: his children, Tricia Herron (Mark), Kathy Lafferty (Edward), Colleen Bialecki (John), Elizabeth Ann Graney and Joseph M. Graney, Jr. (Dawn); his grandchildren, Stephanie, Jessica, Kristina, Dylan, Jake, Lauren, Seth, Corinna, Josh and Emily; his great grandchildren, Xavier and Harper; his close friend Mary Louise Chesley-Cora; and his siblings, Paul Graney, William Graney, Sr., Eileen Carroll, Jean Frabizzio, Patricia Kriebel and Michael Graney. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
