It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph G. Paoli Jr. of Wilmington, Delaware, who passed away on June 24, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Guiseppe Paoli and Esther Paoli (Cataldi); and his siblings, Dominick Paoli (Lee), Alfred Paoli, Eugene "Gene" Paoli, Nello Paoli (Ann), Anthony Paoli and Catherine Sparco (Anthony).
He is survived by: his spouse Nikki; his children, Mary Pat Serio (John), Joseph G. Paoli III (Kim), Samuel Paoli (Renee) and Nicole Spadea (Michael); his grandchildren, Dominic (Joseph), Gabriela (Mike), Alexa, Mary Kate, Joey IV, Sam, Massimo, Giada, Michael (Taylor), Ashley and Mackenzie; his great grandchildren, Brooke and Luca Joseph; his sisters, Mary Ann Catalina (Steve) and Rosemary McBride (Benny); and his sisters-in-law, Dolly Paoli, Dorie Paoli and Gini Paoli. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Church (901 N Dupont St, Wilmington, DE 19805). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. An entombment will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at the Cathedral Cemetery (2400 Lancaster Ave, Wilmington, DE 19805).
