He is also survived by his grandchildren; and great grandchildren; as well as a large extended family.

“I was very sorry to learn today about the passing of your father! Somehow I missed his obituary if was in the newspaper. Sent him a Christmas card which was returned this week, so I asked one of the guys at Maple Dale who played bridge with us in the past if he knew anything about joe having moved. He told that your Dad had passed away before Christmas. Your Dad and I spent many Happy days on the golf course and at the bridge table together. He was a truly great friend! Jim & Faye Spartz”
