She was predeceased by: her son David Cometa; her husbands, Calogero "Sonny" Cometa and Jack Stephenson; and her siblings, Margaret, Billy, Jimmy, Richard "Doc", John and Tommy.
She is survived by: her sister Gertrude; her children, Sharon Cometa and Brian; her daughter-in-law Sandy Cometa; her grandchildren, Lori Garris (Rob), Joey Garris (Nicki) and Kaitlin Cometa (Cody); and her great grandchildren, Jaxon Garris and Tyler Smulski.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Doherty Funeral Home - Pike Creek (3200 Limestone Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
