With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joyce VanDyke Taylor (Wilmington, Delaware), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 7, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert G. Taylor; her parents, Hassel VanDyke and Alice VanDyke; her sisters, Carol and Barbara; her brother-in-law Greg Malatesta; and her sister Betty Sweetman.
She is survived by: her sons, Bob (Karen) and Scott (Jacqueline); her grandchildren, Bobby (Stephanie), Shawn (Jamie) and Zach (Becca); her great grandchildren, Jaymyn, Jayden, Cameron, Evan, Skylar, Sayge, Alex, Rylee and Brynlee; her sisters, Laureen Stigile and Hope Moore (Bill); her siblings-in-law, Helen Warren and John Sweetman; and her friends, Trudy Welch, Jane and Ed Marston. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
