She was predeceased by: her husband John Finney Downham; and her parents, Dr. Lindley Leggett and Katharine Leggett (Pearsall) of Westfield. She is survived by: her sons, John Downham (Marguerite) of New Jersey and Tom Downham (Donna) of California; her grandsons, David Downham (Stacey) and Matthew Downham (Kelsey); and her great grandchildren, Milo, Finn, Heather, Emma and Violet.

Her contributions to their cookie walk bake sales were legendary.
