With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Laurence M. Dorsney of Wilmington, Delaware, who passed away on July 15, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Facciolo; and his sisters, Grace Bromley and Kathy Dorsney. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Kenneth Dorsney (Connie) of Wilmington and Suzanne Shields of Wilmington; and his grandchildren, Tyler, Augusta, Matthew, John, Stephanie, Jessica, Samantha and Maddison.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Doherty Funeral Home - Pike Creek (3200 Limestone Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Doherty Funeral Home (3200 Limestone Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808).
