He was predeceased by: his parents, Roosevelt Holmes and Alma Watson Holmes; and his brother Alphonso Holmes. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia M. Holmes; his daughters, Dawn Little and Ashley Holmes; his stepson LaShawn Moore; his granddaughter Amiah Holmes; his siblings, Karen Johnson, Bobby Cooley, Robert Holmes and Lawrence Holmes (Theressa); and his cousin Preston Pruden. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
