He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis MacNeal and Barbara Battersby MacNeal; and his siblings, Margaret Doyle, Ronald, Edith Brown, Daniel and Francis MacNeal.
He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Kalix, David and Robert; his wife Linda MacNeal; his sons, Brian (Regina) and Andrew (Tricia); and his stepdaughters, Carol Hogan Heindel (Greer), Diane Hogan Quinn (Jim) and Sherry Hogan Dougherty. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
