She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Ida Mae of Wilmington, Delaware. and George Vincent of Wilmington, Delaware.; and her husband Oscar Clayton. She was also cherished by loving mother to her three daughters as well as a caring grandmother to her 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (149 Landers Ln, New Castle, DE 19720).
