She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter Graham and Nannie Lee Morrisey Wilson; and her husband Wendell M. Stephens. She is survived by : her daughter Erica Gildersleeve (Jake); her grandchildren, Jashan Gildersleeve, Jessiah Gildersleeve and Joshua Gildersleeve; her great grandchildren, Mylo White and Leighton Gildersleeve; her sisters, Lucille Banks (William), Nancy J. Glasper and Nettie Mae Pernell (Frankie); her in-laws, Connie Stephens, Frances Blackshear, Richard Stephens and Raymond Stephens; her adoptive sons, John Harris, Joel Harris and Avery Harris; and her sisters, Sylvia Starks and Zoe Fields. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Viewing was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Paul Uame Church (3114 N Market St, Wilmington, DE 19802). A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
