She was predeceased by: her parents, Myrtle Hughes (Bartlett) and Wirt Draper Bartlett; her husband Joseph F. Grimes I; and her son David Grimes Sr.. She is survived by: her brother Wirt D. Bartlett; her children, Joseph F. Grimes II (Debbie) and Mimi Hurley (Douglas); her daughter-in-law Mary Grimes; and her grandchildren, Lisa Miller, Gina Thomas, Joseph Thomas, Megan Hurley, Kerri Johnston Joseph F. (Mike), Grimes III (Marilyn), Douglas J. Hurley, Kelly Grimes, David Grimes Jr. and John J. Grimes. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Marian's name to the American Heart Association, or your favorite charity.
