Though Markos may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Markos touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his wife Eugenia Zerefos; his children, Demetrios Zerefos (Constantina) and Evie Zerefos-Coates (George); and his grandchildren, Elefteria, Yiannis (Lauren), Markos and Markella. He is also survived by father to his children was being a grandfather.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donation to be made to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, Wilmington DE or Saint Andrew the Apostle in Lewes, DE.
