She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Johnson and Louise Johnson; her husband Lawrence; and her siblings, Theodore, David, Wanza, Marie, Velma and Hattie.
She is survived by: her daughter Donna Bates (Edward); her siblings, Martha Bowers (Richard) and Leonard Johnson; and her grandchildren, Darryl (Natalie) and Darreisha Harper (Derron). She is also survived by 3 great grandchildren, 5 sister-in-laws, 1 brother-in-law, multiple nieces, nephews, and cousins.
