With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Michael Giberson of Wilmington, Delaware, born in Newark, Delaware, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Michael left this world on December 1, 2025 at the age of 35, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Giberson and Kathleen Giberson; and his grandparents, George Giberson, Sr., Jean Mingo, Doris and Harvey Moulder.
He is survived by: his wife Kelley; his brothers, David Giberson (Jennifer) and Shawn Turner (Courtney); his siblings' children, Abigail Turner and Liam Turner; his aunts, Donna Semones (Stan) and Sandra Grear (Jim); and his children, Scooter, Boomer and Cocoa. He is also survived by several other family members and dear friends.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gebhart Funeral Homes (3401 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Lawn Croft Cemetery (1000 W Ridge Rd, Linwood, PA 19061).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Michael's honor to the American Cancer Society.
