She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Figliola and Jennie Figliola; her former husbands, James M. Kemp and William A Sowden; her siblings, Anthony Figliola, Ellen DeStefano and Margaret Cicchini; and her great grandchild Taylor Roberts.

She is survived by: her children, Carol Kemp Roberts of Wilmington, DE, Donald Kemp (Sallie) and Joanne Ferrara (Sam) of Newark, DE; and her sister Catherine Gray of Wilmington, DE.. She is also survived by her six grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren.
