She was predeceased by: her husband Francisco J. Freire; her grandson Gabriel Sorrells; her parents, Dr. Ernesto Perez and Norma Perez; and her nephew Ernie James Perez.
She is survived by: her children, Hope House, Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, Monique Freire Westmoreland (Avíe Dorley) and Michelle Freire Sorrells (Thomas); her grandchildren, Jacob Thomas of Wilmington, Delaware and Sophia Evelyn of Wilmington, Delaware; and her brother Ernesto Perez (Debbie).
