He is survived by: his children, Bryan "Rauf" Paynter (Karen), Lisa Wilkerson, Deirdre Leary Dione Dorsey (William), Keya Glover (Roger), Lena Blackwell (Harold), Devon Johnson (Jay) and Levar Wilkerson; his sister Aisha Muhammad (Tony); and his brother-in-law Wayne Purnell. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
