With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patricia M. Giannone of Wilmington, Delaware, who passed away on February 9, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edith Merrill (Gehringer) and Charles Merrill; and her siblings, Marie Wilczynski, Katherine Cantera, Charles Merrill, Horace Merrill and Edith Greico.

She is survived by: her children, Alberta (Joseph Peronti), Francis L. (Maura Giannone) and Louis A. Giannone of Wilmington; and her grandchildren, Andrea Panico (Brian), Joseph Peronti, Jr. (Megan), Carissa Davis (Dustin), Lianne Giannone, Gabrielle Giannone (Kyle) and Jenna Griskowitz (Evan). She is also survived by her eleven great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Little Sisters of the Poor, 185 Salem Church Road, Newark, DE 19713.
