He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Moore and Laura Cooke; and his siblings, Lester, Frank, Arthur, Dennis, Patricia and Barbara.
He is survived by: his sister Cynthia Johnson (James) of Texas. He is also survived by 8 children, and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Congo Legacy Center (501 W 28th St, Wilmington, DE 19802). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Gracelawn Memoria Park (2220 N Dupont Hwy, New Castle, DE 19720-4432).
