He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hemphill and Mary Maguire Hemphill; and his brother Kevin Hemphill. He is survived by: his wife Donna Cortese Hemphill; his daughter Lisa Hemphill of Wilmington; Sharyn (John Jodlbauer) of Elkton, MD and Maribeth Hemphill of Newark.
