He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Fersch and Elizabeth Fersch (Boc); his wife Eileen Fersch (Trainor); and his brothers, John "Skip" and George Fersch.
He is survived by: his sons, Kevin Fersch (Holly) and Eric Fersch (Jeanine); his grandchildren, Kyle, Jared (Tiffany), Jacob and Samantha Fersch; his great grandchildren, Lorelai and Gannon Fersch; his siblings, Robert Fersch (Bonnie) and Diana Hamilton; his daughter-in-law Marjorie Fersch; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Fersch and Joan Fersch.
