He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry McGarr and Mary Ellen McGarr (Hickey). He is survived by: his wife Ellen Adlington; his former wife Wendy Tse; his brother John; his children, John McGarr, Elizabeth McGarr-Emery, Mary McGarr and Katherine McGarr; his grandchild Ellie White; his brother Kevin McGarr; his sister-in-law Lorraine McGarr (Caporale); his sister Mary Mulvaney (McGarr); and his brother-in-law Brian Mulvaney. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
