She was predeceased by: her parents, Margie Ann Hunter-Riley and Daniel Wright; her husband Nathaniel Grimes (Nat); her siblings, Robert Lee, Matthew Perkins and Melinda Perkins; her children, Darlene Grimes and Nathaniel Perkins; and her grandson Kenneth Grimes, II.
She is survived by: her children, Douglas (Michelle), Bruce (Andrea), Kenneth (Sharon), Ronald, Patricia, Cathy and Steven; and her siblings, Dennis, Gary Riley and Hattie Perkins (Zudy). She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
