Ryan Kapes Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ryan Kapes (Wilmington, Delaware), who passed away on January 9, 2021, at the age of 16, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandfather Carl D Kapes; and his great-grandparents, Victor Pallaver, Edward, Virginia Kapes, Alex, Jean Vesper, Francis and Cora Palmer.

He is survived by: his parents, Jennifer Sutton and Carl Kapes; his stepparents, Chris Sutton and Ashley Kapes; his siblings, Brayden, Bryce, Brooklyn, Maddie and Jack; his grandparents, Thomas, Barbara Palmer and Kathleen Kapes; and his great-grandparent Veronica Pallaver.

The visitation and Mass for Ryan will be conducted in accordance with current COVID-19 directives which require mandatory face masks, social distancing, and capacity restrictions at both the funeral home and church.

In Lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made in Ryan's name to the Team Sanfilippo Foundation, 20 Lakewood Avenue, Ronkonkoma, NY 11779 or to Nemours A.I. DuPont Children's Hospital, 1600 Rockland Road, Wilmington, DE 19803.
