With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sarah A. Ryan (Wilmington, Delaware), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 28, 2025 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sarah A. Ryan to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Richard and Gertrude McCullough Barron; and her husband Leonard Ryan. She is survived by: her children, Francis Ryan (Johnna) and Hillary Fortuna (Bill); her sisters, Barbara Barron Lynch and Linda Dean; her grandchildren, Ryan, Alexandra, Kristina, Shannon, Sarah, Jessica and Jacob; and her great grandchild Isabella.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church (4701 Weldin Rd, Wilmington, DE 19803). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at the Saints Peter & Paul Cemetery (1600 S Sproul Rd, Springfield, PA 19064).
