It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Smith of Wilmington, Delaware, who passed away on October 27, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, J. R. Crosby and Sarah Crosby; and her brother Ray Crosby. She is survived by: her husband Sandy Smith; her children, Dr. Andy Smith (Kristin) and Sarah Chapman (Richard); her grandchildren, Chapin Smith Whetstone (Morgan), Andrew Smith, Jack Smith, Crosby Chapman and Owen Chapman; and her siblings, Martha Crosby, Sam Crosby (Ann), Anne Williams (Miller) and Eleanor Lanier (Sam).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her honor to Ecumenical Ministries, Inc. of Baldwin County.
