She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Waldman and Mary Ford Waldman; her children, Diane A Pierce (David) and Kenny Ackerman; her grandson Ryan Call; and her son-in-law Robert J Cleaver.

She is survived by: her husband Joseph F Ackerman; her children, Christine Cleaver Eckrich (Michael), Donald Ackerman (Deborah), Lisa Call (Bob), Julie Stubbles (Bill) and Scott J Ackerman; and her grandchildren, Craig Cleaver (Meghan), Kevin Cleaver (Toni), Cliff Eckrich, Emily Munchel (Nick), Anna Frederick (Matt), Kelly Trullinger (Nick), Stephen Gendron (Wendy), Jessica Ackerman, Luke Ackerman, Michael Call (Dayna), Steven Call, Patrick Call (Ryan), Erica Stubbles, Chase Stubbles (Kasey), Evan Ackerman (Taylor), Elijah Ackerman (Rachel) and Molly Jo Ackerman. She is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren.
