He was predeceased by : his parents, Wallace Chang and Theresa Chang (Chu); and his father-in-law Joseph Grello. He is survived by : his significant other Sheryl Chang (Grello); his daughter Tara Mestre (Tim); his grandchildren, Alexis Chang and Tatiana Mestre; his mother-in-law Rose Grello; his sister-in-law Carla Fusco (Michael); his nephews, Michael and Joseph Fusco; and his devoted shih tzu Kona.

Viewing was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Doherty Funeral Home - Pike Creek (3200 Limestone Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM and at 11:30 AM at the St. John the Beloved Church (907 Milltown Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808).
