He was predeceased by: his parents, Morton Fenichel and Lynn Fenichel (Barnes); and his brother David Fenichel. He is survived by: his wife Janet E. Badaracco; his daughters, Sarah Fisher (Marietta) and Laura Chapman (Benjamin); his grandchildren, Giovanni Fisher, Phoebe, Declan, Margot Chapman, Eliana "Ellie" and Violet; and his sister Susan Maakestad (Christopher).
In lieu of flowers, Steve's family request that memorial contributions be made to the Steven M. Badaracco Legacy Fund (https://bio.site.), which will be directed to providing groceries and essentials to underserved communities such as Steve dedicated his time and resources to within his life.
