He was predeceased by: his parents, Preston J. Eachus and Dorothy M. Eachus; his siblings, Donald, Sidney (Bud), David, Lorraine Eachus, Connie Jennings and Norma; his sister-in-law Patricia Moore; his nieces, Cindy Moore and Tammy Bennington; and his nephew Larry Melvin.

He is survived by: his wife Kathie; his son Steven Richard "Rick" (Shannon); his brothers, Lawrence (Debbie) and Warren (Carol); and his sisters-in-law, Maryanne Eachus and Gale Eachus. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
