She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Sayles (Capps) and Kenneth Sayles. She is survived by: her children, Lee Porter, Sandra Albertus (Ed), Henry A. "Jay" Dammeyer III, Mark Dammeyer and Eric Dammeyer (Hope); her grandchildren, Timothy, Rebecca, Delaney, Lila, Lily, Grace and Max; her great grandchild Lucas; and her sister Jean Dalton.
