She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Evans (Taylor) and Robert Marshall Evans; her husband Bill Tyrrell; her grandmother Bertha Russell Taylor; and her brother-in-law Matt Varner.
She is survived by: her daughter Melissa; her son-in-law Michael Hurwitz; her granddaughter Laura Hurwitz; her sisters, Nancy Evans Little (Alex) and Jane Evans Varner; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Stevenson and Cecilia Watkins. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
