He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles M. "Woody" Mitten and Theresa H. Mitten. He is survived by: his brother Christopher; his niece Melanie A. Mitten (Bob Thompson); his nephews, Richard C. Mitten and Christopher M. Mitten (Margarette Mitten); and his great-nephew Finnley Grey.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas the Apostle Church (301 N Bancroft Pkwy, Wilmington, DE 19805). A burial was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at the Cathedral Cemetery (2400 Lancaster Ave, Wilmington, DE 19805).
