He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys McCauley and Wilbert Dennis; his wife Marjorie B. Dennis; and his son Darryl Dennis. He is survived by: his son Vernon "Vern" Dennis Jr.; his grandchildren, Amy Miller and Jared Dennis (Erica); his great grandchildren, Cameron, Sean, Alexis, Brooklyn and Liam; and his siblings, Wayne Dennis, Ruth Radabaugh and Dr. Thelma White. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and close family friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Vernon's name to the VFW.
