He is survived by: his wife Shirley Laws Amato; his children, Dr. David Amato (Marie) and Amy Amato; his grandchildren, Andrew, Payton, Haley, Hannah, Anthony, Alex and Haven; and his friend Shirley. He is also survived by extended family including many nieces and nephews.
