It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia E. Spencer (Wilmington, Delaware), who passed away on April 19, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna V. Bell and Francis Lee; her husband David Spencer; her daughter Diniece Spencer; and her godson Robert Cooper.
She is survived by: her children, Denise and David; her brother Wilbert Saunders; her aunt Lorraine Saunders; her cousin James Saunders; her siblings-in-law, Kenneth Johnson, Barbara Johnson and Sarah Johnson; her grandchildren, Sharonda Spencer, Ronisha Skinner, Oneika Spencer, Reanna Skinner and Tivon Silva, Jr.; and her godson Keith Govens. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
