He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter E. Heiser, Jr. and Edna Blough Heiser. He is survived by: his wife Barbara C. Heiser (Heaney); his children, Walter E. Heiser IV (JoAnn), Debra Mintun (David Lee), Martha Raposa (Ron Easter), Stephen Heiser (Renae), Glenn P. Heiser (Sharon), Aaron F. Heiser (Kimberly) and Katie Hummel (Frank); his grandchildren, Schuyler Heiser, Theresa Latourell, Paul Raposa, Evan Heiser, Frank W. Hummel III and Elizabeth Hummel; and his sisters, Nancy Robson and Gloria Ann Dolan. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
