He is survived by: his children, Dwayne Howell, Faith Howell (Joe) and Daniel Howell (Miya); his siblings, Vaughn Jr. (Sue Armstrong), Eric "Rick" (Ronna), Sue Honaker (Jim) and Steven; his grandchildren, Zachary, Alexa, Ethan, Adrienne and Lucah; and his close friend Alice Stump.
