He was predeceased by: his sister Drue Port; and his parents, Betty and Wes Sr. Born. He is survived by: his wife Helene Maltman; and his children, Denise Schmidt, Elaine Maltman, Karen Fisher and Wesley Maltman III. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

“Dear Helene and family, I was saddened to hear of Wes’s passing. He was a good friend and always fun to be with. We worked together for nearly a decade on the same team at Hercules and played golf together for 20 years after that. He was incredibly talented and an extremely dedicated worker and a wonderful and gracious man. Wes was a one-in-a-million of lovable characters. May God Bless his soul and comfort all of you during this sorrowful time. May good memories of him sustain us all.”
