It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William J. Dixon Jr. of Wilmington, Delaware, who passed away on February 18, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his former wife Helen Kelly Dixon; his parents, William Dixon and Alma Dixon; and his brother Robert Dixon (Bob). He is survived by: his wife JeRue Dixon; his children, Philly, Mark Dixon, John Dixon (Joni) and Jill Dixon; his grandson Ian (Lindsay); his great grandchildren, Claire and Ryan; his granddaughter Amanda Wright (Nick); his daughter Julie Martin (Rick); his sister-in-law Ann; his nephew Chris (Regina); and his niece Courtney. He is also survived by birds and all the backyard animals.
