We are sad to announce that on December 8, 2025, Yolanda Govin of Wilmington, Delaware passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Yolanda farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Yolanda is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She is survived by: her children, Yrene Waldron of Wilmington, DE and Agustin Govin (Judy) of Lewes, DE; and her grandchildren, Dr. Heather Rooks, Donna Adams, Austin and Brian Govin. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Brandywine Valley Funeral Care (412 Philadelphia Pike, Wilmington, DE 19809). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at the Gracelawn Memorial Park (2220 N Dupont Hwy, New Castle, DE 19720).
