He is survived by: his wife Dolores Magrini; his children, Carolyn Dolores Caruso, Laurel Caruso (Paul Shirley, Jr.), Amelia Caruso Mitchell (David), Phylis P. Caruso (V. L. Layton) and Philip P. Caruso, Jr. (Penny); his grandchildren, Mark, Jason Frazier, James Jr., Justin, Jonathan Frye, Philip III, Matthew, Daniella Caruso, Claire and Scottie Mitchell; and his great grandchildren, Jackson, Calvin Frazier, Zoe, Haven, Grayson Frazier, Layton, Morgan, Reagan, James Frye III, Amelia Kate, Caroline, Elinor Frye, Isabella, Luca Caruso, Emmet Mitchell and Davey Mitchell.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that any donations be given to St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Winter Park, Florida.
