He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Brand (Caplan) and Sanford Brand; and his significant other Carol Cohen. He is survived by: his children, Alex Brand (Jessica) and Alicia Brand; his granddaughters, Madalyn and Isabelle; and his brother Ed.
