He was predeceased by: his parents, John Langhals and Clara Langhals (Schroeder); and his brothers, Nick Langhals (Rose), Bob Langhals, Virgil Langhals, John Langhals and Dan Langhals.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Schnipke; his sons, Ross Langhals (Karrie) of Kalida and Doug Langhals (Holly) of Kalida; his grandchildren, Evan Langhals, Ethan Langhals, Griffon Langhals and Charlie Hutchins; his siblings, Dory Schumaker of Columbus Grove, Agnes Schumaker (Herb) of The Villages, FL, Sam Langhals (Rene) of Ottawa, Bede Agner (Jerry) of Marion, Hun Wander (Dan) of Worthington, Chip Croy (Steve) of Houston, TX, Theresa Rosengarten (Dale) of Glandorf, Mick Langhals (Pam) of Ottawa, Pat Langhals (Joanie) of Glandorf and Martin Langhals (Lois) of Lima; and his sisters-in-law, Joan Langhals of Glandorf, Judy Gerding of Ottawa and Deb Langhals of Glandorf.
