She was predeceased by: her parents, Oren Dennis Carter and Mezzie Madelene Carter (Metz); her siblings, Nancy Rae (Carter), Bennett (Mel Bennett) and Richard Wayne Carter; and her daughter-in-law Robin Carden (Jacuk).

She is survived by: her husband James Carden (JC); her sons, Patrick Carden (Connie) and Timothy Carden; her sister-in-law Gale Carter (Burkhardt); her grandchildren, Ryane Fitzwater, Catherine Sikes (Jake), Joshua Carden (McKenna) and Connor Carden; and her great grandchildren, Knox Fitzwater, Ellie Sikes and Ryder Carden. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
