With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ann Harris of Apalachicola, Florida, born in Gadsden, Alabama, who passed away on December 23, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Ann farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Ann is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jim Harris; her children, Vicky Segree and Jimmy Harris; her brother-in-law Ken Cooper; and her grandson Jonathan Crews Harris.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Taunton (Jay Bailey), Johnny Harris (Sandy), Greg Harris (Karen), Susan Oliphant (Steve Payne), Jennifer Ann Finch (Ken) and Michael Lee Harris (Heather); and her sister June Cooper. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and 25 great-great-grandchildren.
